Frequently Asked Questions

This is a general overview of evaluations. Some of the details will vary by team, because each team manager has complete discretion over their team.

Toros holds evaluations for each level. Evaluations take place during the summer (late July to early August). Please check the evaluation schedule for your age group.

Up to 15 players are typically selected per team. PLEASE NOTE: Some teams have multiple returning players and may be only looking for a limited number of players to improve their existing roster.

Evaluations are sometimes ongoing if fall or summer rosters aren’t filled.

Bigger tournaments sometimes require carrying more players to give our teams enough depth to compete on a high level.

Prospective Toros managers and coaches are required to interview with Toros ownership.

Toros players are expected to adhere to all practice and game schedules.

You’re paying for a roster spot.  Players must show a consistent work ethic, commitment to the team and great attitude to earn playing time.  There is no guarantee for rotation of positions and playing time will not be equal.  Keeping players healthy is a top priority so sometimes that means rest is essential.  Lineups are determined by the coaching staff with the goal to be competitive.

Our teams play the majority of their games in Louisiana and South Mississippi.  However, there are national tournaments that our teams have attended in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

Team tuition and uniform costs will vary by season and are discussed at tryouts or team meetings.
